My PhD focuses on the transmission of knowledge, with an emphasis on the role of emotional feedback in the acquisition of culture in young children. More specifically, we're studying the transmission of knowledge through vocalization in everyday life between mother and child (12 to 48 months) in an ecological context.
On the other hand, we focus on the impact of maternal emotions (positive or negative) on child learning, exploring mother-infant synchrony and knowledge transmission through specific tasks. The study is also cross-cultural, with a comparison between Switzerland and Uganda
