
At the final of the 13th edition of i-Teams, the jury met six teams with innovative projects, all competing for the i-Teams prize. First prize was awarded to the ‘Aging: Home Rollator’ project, led by Carmelo Bisognano (Inartis) and Ghazal Hamidi Madani (Management Team).
- 1st Prize "SafeStride"
A smart walker that detects obstacles and recognizes user motion, using artificial intelligence for fall prevention. - 2nd Prize: "Audition Device"
A portable device to test hearing ability and detect early signs of hearing loss, which is closely linked to cognitive decline and mental health. It targets elderly users and could be distributed via primary care networks or OTC markets. - 3rd Prize: "Magic Mirror"
A smart mirror using computer vision to estimate physiological parameters. It provides wellness insights for preventive health and can be deployed in fitness centers or pharmacies.
