Fundamental Medicine
The Section of Fundamental Medicine comprises the basic research groups focusing on questions ranging molecular mechanism of cellular function to the biology of microorganisms, from the pathophysiology of major diseases to neural basis of behavior and human genetics.
Beside cutting-edge scientific research, the SMF contributes to strategic developments of the Faculty of Medicine, the organization of recruitment events, and the promotion of scientific exchange.
