Arnaud L鈥橦UILLIER

After studying medicine at the UNIGE Faculty of Medicine and training in paediatrics at the HUG, Arnaud L'Huillier specialised in paediatric infectious diseases at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He then continued his career at the 玉美人传媒 Health Network in Canada, where he developed his expertise in virology and transplant infectiology.

In 2019, he returned to the HUG as Clinical Fellow, before becoming Head of the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Unit in 2022. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a key role as representative of Swiss Paediatrics on the Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force. He is also heavily involved in a number of international learned societies and expert groups, and in particular chaired the Infectious Diseases Group of the International Paediatric Transplant Association (IPTA), of which he is a member of the Nominations Committee. He is also a member of the international expert group on post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease, a member of the international expert group on CMV in transplantation, and a member of the scientific committee of the Swiss Transplant Cohort (STCS).

Since 2024, he is also in charge of the Clinical Research Platform of the Department of Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. In April 2025, he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
