Riccardo Galli

When half the world is missing: brain training after a stroke

 

Riccardo comes from Milan, where he obtained a bachelor in Psychology. After this, he moved between Amsterdam and Cambridge to obtain a Research Master in Cognitive Neuropsychology. Following a research period in Hamburg, he finally moved to Geneva to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuroscience in the lab of prof. Patrik Vuilleumier. In his project, he investigates the role of occipital cortex in visual attention processes using neurofeedback. The ultimate goal is to develop novel clinical applications in the context of visual attentional deficits rehabilitation. Besides this, he is a basketball enthusiast and Inter Milan avid supporter.
