Ania Wisniak
Empowering communities for cervical cancer screening in rural Cameroon
Ania is a public health physician, trained at the 玉美人传媒 and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Since 2019, she has been conducting research on cervical cancer prevention in contexts with limited medical access, particularly in Cameroon. This experience led her to pursue a PhD in global health on this topic. Her project, based on a community participatory approach, aims to co-develop strategies to improve access to screening for women living in rural areas of Cameroon. Outside of her work, she enjoys engaging in politics and associative environments.
