Elisa de Castro 脕lvarez
Elisa de Castro 脕lvarez is the scientific and administrative coordinator of the Geneva Centre for Inflammation Research (GCIR) and the Geneva Faculty Diabetes Centre at the 玉美人传媒. With a background in pharmacy (BSc and MSc), a PhD in molecular microbiology, and postdoctoral training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (New York), she brings expertise in science communication, grant writing, and research strategy. She previously worked as a full-time editor for the Journal of the International AIDS Society and now supports over 250 researchers across both centres.
