Philippe Klee
Philippe Klee graduated in Medicine in 2003 from the 玉美人传媒. He subsequently worked in the Department of Cell Physiology and Metabolism, where he obtained his PhD in 2007 and his MD in 2009, both from the 玉美人传媒. He then trained in Paediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of the 玉美人传媒 Hospitals of Geneva and was awarded his specialist qualification in Paediatrics in 2010.
He went on to combine clinical practice and research in Lyon, France, where he specialised in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology. He received his specialist certification in this field in 2016. He is currently a physician in the Paediatric Endocrine and Diabetes Unit at the Children’s Hospital in Geneva.
His research focuses on pancreatic beta-cell mass and function, particularly the regulation of cell death by apoptosis and the identification of biomarkers to monitor beta-cell mass in a clinical context.
He is actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching within the Faculty of Medicine at the 玉美人传媒 and at the 玉美人传媒 Hospitals of Geneva.
