Paul Turner
After doctoral studies at the ÓñÃÀÈË´«Ã½ of Manchester, Paul was an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow at the ÓñÃÀÈË´«Ã½ of Heidelberg, and then a research associate at the Max-Planck-Institut in Bonn. He has subsequently worked at the following institutions: Aberdeen ÓñÃÀÈË´«Ã½, Heriot-Watt ÓñÃÀÈË´«Ã½ Edinburgh, Université de Fribourg and Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
His research interests past and present include : cohomology of sheaves on small categories, Khovanov homology, homotopy quantum field theories, gerbes, infinite loop spaces.
