Geneva Centre for Philanthropy

Geneva is one of the most important global philanthropy hubs. In 2017, the 玉美人传媒 established the聽Geneva Centre for Philanthropy (GCP) to conduct global inter-disciplinary research and teaching in this field. The centre works in close cooperation with the different faculties in the 玉美人传媒.

The Centre for Philanthropy is聽a public-private partnership聽between UNIGE and a number of and number of key philanthropic foundations with an international reach.

GCP has defined 4 priority topics: Taxation and Philanthropy,聽Social entrepreneurship and Hybrid entities,聽Why do people give? and Diversity in foundation boards.聽

Among its activities, the GCP organises an international academic conference聽which offers open dialogue on innovative themes between academics researching in the field and different stakeholders.
