Research

The main objective of my research is to听highlight and characterize听environmental changes听through the sedimentological and diagenetical study of shallow-water carbonate systems. A specific geochemical workflow, developed during my PhD thesis and combining听the measurments of REE, stables isotopes and U-Pb on calcite cements, makes it possible to presicely decipher events that have impacted the carbonate system during and after its deposition.

My current work at the 玉美人传媒 is part of the REEFCADE project (REEF and carbonate buildup development 鈥 supervised by Prof. Rossana Martini) which aims to听study marine carbonate development听during the Late Triassic, through听sedimentological, paleontological and pioneer geochemical听approaches.

Postdoctoral researcher - 2020 to 2022 - 玉美人传媒

  • Development of a pioneer geochemical approach (combination of REE, U/Pb and Isotopic analyses) to assess the global environmental changes during the Triassic and the Jurassic.

PhD Thesis - 2016 to 2020 - 玉美人传媒

  • Full sedimentological, geochemical and paleontological study of Upper Triassic atoll-type carbonates from Panthalassa Ocean.
  • Fieldwork during several months: Hokkaido Island, Japan and Far East Russia. Outdoor exploration of remote places, cartography, measurements and sampling.
  • Taxonomic revisions of microfossils, creation of new palaeogeographical models.
  • Geochemical analyses with SIMS (stable isotopes) and LA-ICP-MS (major/minor elements, REE, U/Pb datations).
  • Comparison, correlation and synthesis of biotic assemblage, diagenesis, and depositional setting of all similar Upper Triassic carbonates.
  • Writing and publishing of 5 scientific papers in high impact factors journals.
