Olivier Scaillet Nominated Co-Chair of the 2026 Asia Meeting of The Econometric Society

GSEM Professor Olivier Scaillet has been nominated Scientific Program Co-Chair of the 2026 Asia Meeting of The Econometric Society, for East & Southeast Asia, to be held from 31 July to 2 August 2026 in Hanoi, Vietnam.

is an international academic association dedicated to the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics. It brings together researchers from around the world to promote rigorous quantitative and theoretical approaches to economics.

Olivier Scaillet is a Professor of Finance and statistics at the GSEM and the Director of the Geneva Finance Research Institute. His research focuses on derivatives pricing, econometric theory, and the application of econometrics to finance and insurance. His work has been recognized across public and private sectors, with particular distinction in academia.
