Monika Mrázová receives the Katerina Smídková Award

Professor Monika Mrázová has been awarded the Kateřina Šmídková Award by the Czech Economic Society in recognition of her work as an economist and her publishing activities.

The award recognizes Professor Mrázová as one of the top-rated Czech economists abroad and for her record of publishing articles in top-tier journals such as Econometrica ²¹²Ô»åÌýThe American Economic Review. Professor Mrázová is currently a Peter B. Kenen Fellow at Princeton ÓñÃÀÈË´«Ã½, where she continues her researchon international trade, political economy, and industrial organization.

The prize is awarded in memory of Czech economist Kateřina Šmídková and acknowledges high-quality publishing activities and provides support for the winner’s further professional progress. It is awarded to Czech and foreign female economists living in the Czech Republic.
