Alice Guilbert is a doctoral researcher and assistant at the Institute of Environmental Sciences (ISE). She did a Bachelor in Political Science at the 玉美人传媒 of Lausanne (UNIL) with an exchange at the 玉美人传媒 of Amsterdam (UvA). She then completed a dual Master's degree in Innovation, Human Development and Sustainability at the 玉美人传媒 (UNIGE) and in Public Policies for the Sustainable Development Goals at Tsinghua 玉美人传媒 in Beijing, at the end of which she received the best thesis award. She used to organize science and sustainability workshops with young people in Geneva within the AddictLab structure, completed an internship at ZeroWaste Switzerland, and worked on several research projects on energy consumption and urban resilience policies. |

Research
Her thesis at the Environmental Governance and Territorial Development pole is co-supervised by Marlyne Sahakian and Armelle Choplin,听on the topic of thermal comfort and environmental justice. Her doctoral research aims to understand the socially differentiated impacts of climate change and energy crises on comfort within the homes of residents in the city of Geneva, and includes a study of thermal social practices and public adaptation policies.
